Our latest Tamil Innovators Spotlight features V. T. Nayani, a Tamil director, producer, and writer, born and raised in Toronto. Her work intimately and tenderly explores how we continuously come of age, at every stage of life. V. T. is an alumna of the CBC's Workshop for Diverse Creators, HotDocs' Doc Accelerator, Reelworld Film Festival's Emerging 20 Program, and BlackStar Film Festival's William and Louise Greaves Filmmaker Seminar. She is also a recipient of the UN Women Yvonne M. Hebert Award for filmmakers and photographers.
