What is the Tamil Venture Zone?
The Tamil Venture Zone is brought to you by the Canadian Tamil Chamber of Commerce, in association with the Canadian Tamil Professionals Association and Good News Ventures and is the first organization of its kind in Canada.
Launched in 2023, this incubator was created to bring together successful entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors within the Tamil community who understand the unique challenges, culture, and opportunities our founders face. Our network of experienced entrepreneurs can relate to this shared experience and help elevate aspiring founders to compete in the mainstream market.
For Tamil entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka, TVZ also provides market access and network connections to the North American market, providing an invaluable opportunity to scale globally.

Through Tamil Venture Zone, I met my technical co-founder, who was pitching his own company as a finalist as well. Once we recognized our complementary skill sets—me as an accountant and him as a software engineer—and our shared passion for AI automation and entrepreneurship, we teamed up to build Quanto together.
We connected with multiple business owners through the incubator who offered invaluable advice and expertise, and some even became our early paying customers for bookkeeping automation.
These stepping stones ultimately attracted interest from various members within the Tamil community to invest in our business, which created the momentum needed to gain interest from outside institutional capital as well.
Although we participated in startup incubator programs at Harvard and Oxford universities, the biggest catalyst for our growth has been the community support and exposure we gained from TVZ.
