A research study exploring the challenges associated with biculturalism among 1.5 generation Sri Lankan Tamil Canadians in forming their bicultural identity and independence living at home in the GTA. A phenomenological study discussing individual experiences.

Eligibility: 

  • 18+
  • Sri Lankan Tamil Canadian
  • Residing with caregiver(s)
  • 1.5 generation (born and raised in heritage country) 
  • Living in Ontario, Canada 

Your participation would be greatly appreciated and would allow us to gain a deeper understanding of this understudied issue. 

NOTE:

If you are eligible for this study, I will contact you regarding scheduling an interview via zoom (60minutes) to discuss your experiences. Your data will be anonymized and you are free to withdraw your consent at any point.
