Known for its green fields, deep blue skies with cotton clouds and hills all around, Tenkasi is truly a treat to the eyes. It’s traveler-friendly weather and location makes Tenkasi one of the most photographed places in South India. But we wanted to experience a little more than the luxury. We wanted to get real. So we set foot to this land of agriculture and aspired to capture the face of farmers amidst the perspiring heat in the harvest season. It is the hard work and perseverance of these folks that lend perspective to this place. Off camera flash, HSS to beat the midday sun, and some gritty editing – we gave our lighting techniques a good workout and we love the results.
