In both a figurative and literal sense, Tamil small businesses are the lifeline of the diaspora. As the global health pandemic runs its course, the Tamil business community perseveres.
Anti-Blackness is as pervasive and entrenched in South Asian spaces as is casteism, colourism, and misogyny. Necessary dialogue concerning the prejudice and ostracization the diaspora at-large has been subject to persists.
