I ride to my uncle's house every day to collect water for my Periyamma during curfew time in Jaffna. This made me realise the difficulties faced by individuals and families here on a daily basis just to get drinking water.

I ride to my uncle's house every day to collect water for my Periyamma during curfew time in Jaffna. This made me realise the difficulties faced by individuals and families here on a daily basis just to access water to drink.
Not everyone has access to clean water and most of the time they end up walking to the neighbour's house or a few kms just to get drinking water.

I feel their pain now, as at home in Sydney, I merely turn the tap on and I get drinking water or water for daily use easily.
