FeTNA, the Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America, is a registered non-profit that creates opportunities for networking and the preservation and development of Tamil language, culture, and communities.

FeTNA, the Federation of Tamil Sangams of North America, is a registered non-profit that creates opportunities for networking and the preservation and development of Tamil language, culture, and communities.

This umbrella organization was founded in 1987 by five Tamil Sangams: Tamil Association of Delaware Valley, Tamil Sangam of Washington & Baltimore, New York Tamil Sangam, Ilankai Tamil Sangam and Harrisburg Tamil Sangam.

Since then FeTNA has organized an annual convention in cities around the United States. Every year the convention has attracted the likes of politicians, scholars, and artists from around the world. Even Kollywood stars have been known to make appearances. And in the summer of 2013, for the first time ever, FeTNA will be coming to Canada!
