Martha Chandran-Dickerson was born in India, raised in Europe and East Africa, and resides in America. As a global citizen, and as a member of a family that is multicultural, issues concerning identity and justice intrigue her.

A daughter to a Statistician and an Economics lecturer, she eschewed the sciences, and embraced the humanities, initially pursuing journalism, and then eventually evolving into an educator. She is also a freelance writer and editor, as well as a bridge-builder, serving as a writer and educator for various antiracist organizations including BRAVE, Blindian Project, Be the Bridge, and Malayalees for Social Justice. In the future, she hopes to pursue her PhD and write a memoir about her migratory life. You can read more of her writing here:
