My name is Kanastana, I am a Tamil-Canadian in Scotland. I am continually learning about culture and identity and the means of which our environment influences our perceptions and experiences. I am a mental health advocate, intersectional feminist and believe in a holistic approach to delivering medicine. I started a blog last year (misskanabanana.com) and I enjoyed sharing my thoughts on a variety of topics- sometimes in medicine, feminism, mindfulness, environment, or something completely random. I thought I would also bring my writing to TamilCulture.
