myTamilDate and TamilCulture (TC) are excited to announce the upcoming release of “Dating While Tamil”, the first-ever blind dating digital series for the Tamil diaspora. This groundbreaking show delves into the unique dating experiences of Tamil singles, as they navigate the complexities of balancing cultural traditions, personal ambitions, and family expectations—all while searching for love in today’s fast-paced world.

In collaboration with the team at Vala Creative, with music from Sahi Siva, the series features 8 singles from Toronto, chosen from close to 100 applicants. “Dating While Tamil” offers an authentic, unscripted glimpse into the personal journeys of these individuals—capturing the challenges of balancing family and cultural expectations, alongside heartfelt moments of connection and self-discovery.

The show has been made possible with the generous support of Allure Dental by Dr. Karthika Sarvendran, Mantra Chai Co., Mandakini, and Aamara Toronto, whose contributions have been instrumental in bringing this one-of-a-kind series to life.

To celebrate the launch, an exclusive premiere party will be held on Thursday, October 17th, in Toronto, where attendees will enjoy a sneak peek of the series, meet the cast, and commemorate this exciting milestone for the Tamil community.
