I’m Sushmitha Thirumalaivasan — a Program Manager and economic development professional. By day, I support Canada’s innovation ecosystem, helping entrepreneurs and small businesses grow and thrive. I care deeply about creating equitable economic opportunities and building inclusive systems.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about uplifting immigrant and Tamil women — helping them overcome systemic barriers, reclaim their confidence, and build lasting wealth. As an artist and storyteller, I write about business, entrepreneurship, immigration, and social issues, blending lived experience with purpose to inspire and create change.
