About me

Born in the Netherlands but of Indian descent, Maharani is an upcoming multilingual RnB/Trap-Soul singer-songwriter from London with a unique style that reflects the variety of cultures she grew up in. Her style, inspired by the likes of Jhené Aiko, Taylor Swift, Amy Lee and the Weeknd contains elements of her Carnatic music training.



Working independently with her partner, East London producer Itsyaboikay, the duo have been featured in MTV News' Bop Shop for their song 'Tere Bina', the second song on Maharani’s South Asian inspired EP ‘AnBae’.
