Picture Prague in the late 2000s. The cobblestone streets were alive with a mix of old-world charm and new-world freedom. The Velvet Revolution was already two decades past, and the Czech Republic had transformed from a closed-off communist state into one of Europe’s most vibrant and permissive cultural hubs. For the adult film industry, this was fertile ground: production costs were low, the legal climate was relatively relaxed, and a generation of open-minded young people was ready to explore new opportunities in front of the camera.
