About the featured speaker, Abarna Raj:
Abarna started her career as a social strategy consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, helping ASX 100 companies create shared value by aligning social impact with overarching business strategy. She then led the sustainability portfolio at Leighton, Australia’s largest construction and mining services company. Following this, she continued her passion for social strategy consulting at Social Ventures Australia, broadening her clientele to Government agencies and Not for Profits. In 2014, Abarna co-founded Palmera, a social startup that is helping to change the way that the world tackles poverty by shifting the dial from dependence to dignity. Palmera achieves this by supporting the development and education of micro and small enterprises in post conflict regions.
About our host Anjalee Narenthiren:
17-year-old entrepreneur, Anjalee Narenthiren, is the founder of Startup Dojo, an entrepreneurial ecosystem for students. She is a sought-after speaker, giving keynote addresses at large conferences like the AI World Forum, and a Google Conference held in Sunnyvale California.
