Get to know me! My name is Thivananthy Vethalingam, or better known as ThivaGraceParker and I'm a 21 year old student from Norway. I have always been passionate about fashion and style. My sisters have always told me to create something personal where I can speak out about my own fashion sense. So they introduced me to blogg.no where I could share my experiences about my life, fashion, beauty or easier said write an online diary. My dream is to create my own uniqueness and share my own fashion sense with my followers!

Why "ThivaGraceParker"? I have a typical and long tamil name. So people always gave me nicknames. Most of the people know me as Thiva, that’s from my full name Thivananthy and then I also got the nickname Mini because I’m the youngest one in my family. So it was most natural for me to use Thiva from my full name and combine it with Grace Parker. Do not ask where Grace Parker came from!

What does fashion mean to me? For me fashion is something that allows me to express myself and I base it on what I find interesting. Fashion shouldn't be based on others expectations, but rather on what your expectations are for yourself.
If we can compare fashion with music, the steps we choose to move to the music with, should be our own. Of course it’s important to be inspired by others but don't just duplicate! “YOU WERE BORN AN ORGINAL. DONT DIE A COPY” :)

My favourite look right now From the very first time I saw these high heels from Zara, I just fell in love with them! I styled it up with my new black skirt with an orange top from GinaTricot!. This is my proposal for a fresh summer look. Love it!

Be sure to check out more looks from Thiva on her blog. PS - we suggest using Google Translate if you're English speaking!

Kettikari
I'm Bruno, and I'm a kettikaran. Kettikaran is a Tamil masculine word used to describe a male who is successful at achieving something great; in other words, a winner (kettikari for females). For the last few months, this is what a few elders within the Sri Lankan-Tamil community have been telling me - that I’m a winner. No, I didn’t receive a scholarship to school; I didn’t score the winning goal to help my team win the league trophy; I didn’t discover a medical breakthrough. So, what did I do to be bathed with such a commemorative label? Well, I fathered a son as my first child.
