Akilnathan Logeswaran, the Editor-in-Chief of TamilCulture Germany, founder of Stand Up for Europe Munich, and a huge advocate of civic engagement for Human Rights and uniting Europe, has been selected as one of Forbes 30 Under 30 in Law & Policy in Europe.

Here's his reaction on making the highly coveted list:

"Wow. Just wow. I feel deeply humbled to be selected as an Honouree to the Forbes 30 Under 30 in Law & Policy in Europe.

There are so many things on my mind I want to think and say right now. But one strikes out above all: I want to dedicate this to all the kids and grown-ups out there who are being mocked, ridiculed, mobbed and laughed about.

They call us freaks, nerds, geeks and naïve. I know this, because I have been one of them. I want to tell you, that it’s never easy if you’re different. It’s not easy to have or follow bold ideas, neither big dreams or visions you have. But it’s worth it. Because if you deeply believe in it, it’s always worth it. And it will pay off. Not by receiving titles and awards, but it will pay off for your own sake – with a great sense of purpose and drive in life. After all we do this, because we believe in it. So, never let anyone tell you that you can’t do it. You can. And you will.

P.S.: Isn't it a nice coincidence that I will receive this honour today for my work uniting Europe in the heart of the United Kingdom."

Congratulations Akil!
