“Acham” (Fear) is the much-awaited short film directed by Thusy Suntharam from T-Factory Entertainment. After delivering a few light-hearted short films this year, he packs a punch with a hard-hitting subject this time around. Acham is about a divorced couple who is forced to come together when their child goes missing. Raising a child is a huge responsibility and one must learn to make sacrifices but how many sacrifices are too much? As a parent, how do you balance your own needs with your children's needs? Thusy covers several themes such as parenthood, career vs passion, and many more in this heart-rending short film. Acham was produced by Kajan Shanmuganathan from Dream Mirror Productions. The producer being also the cinematographer of the film, immediately came forward to fund this short film when he heard the story. He is also a mentor for Thusy. Jegan TJP composed the music for this emotional thriller. The crew is hoping to create discussions around various topics about parenting after the release.
