At the age of 5, our angel Theepika was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. For those of who are not familiar with this particular illness, Ewing Sarcoma is a rare form of childhood bone cancer.

At the time of Theepika's diagnosis, the cancer had already spread to the lungs from the right arm which was the primary location. Theepika fought a tough battle for 3 years especially during her chemotherapy, 13 hour surgery and bone marrow transplant where she remained in the isolated room for almost 45 days. Following her diagnosis she became a fighter rather then continuing to be a care free child. Unfortunately, Theepika passed away June 25th 2015 at the tender age of 8. As a way of having her spirit live on, a fundraiser event is being organized in her honour and to support others in need.
