I know it's the middle of February but I can't help but daydream of my upcoming summer. I'm going to try to hit up some of the biggest music festivals worldwide as well as some of the more intimate low key concerts around T-dot.

First adventure is to L.A. for Coachella in April! I don't know what it is about Coachella, but it just screams free spirit. Come as you are, bask in the sunshine and lose yourself in the music.  There's something so refreshing and liberating about  partying under the open sky.  My outfits for Coachella definitely have to reflect the California state of mind. It's all about being organic, comfortable and appreciating the simple things in life.

Here are my must-haves for Coachella 2013:

The Outfits:

Since I'm camping for 3 days I'm gravitating towards outfits that are easy to pack and that can transition from day to night.

These maxi skirts and dresses are perfect because they just scream comfort! Go for some funky prints and bright colours and throw it on with a loose fitting tank top or shirt.  Same thing with these fun rompers, hello comfort and style! Plus, who doesn't love an outfit that only requires one article of clothing?

For both these outfits, if you happen to go out at night, just throw on a blazer, pull your hair up into a bun and put on a touch of lipstick and eyeliner.

Finally, denim shorts are just the ultimate must-have for the summer, especially a music festival. You can wear them with anything.

The Extras:

While the day is typically pretty warm, I'm not too sure how the nights are, so it's probably a good idea to take a light jacket- like a denim jacket. I'm  also loving this cargo jacket with the leather sleeves!

Since I'll be camping, I won't exactly have time to style my hair,  which is why I'm definitely packing a couple of hats and some of these adorable turban headbands to hide my messy hair. Sunglasses, funky bracelets and statements necklaces are a must.

Finally, my feet need some loving too. While I will probably bring flip flops and sandals, I'm also going to grab a pair of theses gorgeous studded combat boots. Throw them on with denim shorts, or even a maxi dress and I'm ready to dance all day long!

*SIGH* ....Is it April yet?
